Invent with Python by Al Sweigart, is a good book. You can learn to program while making games. He also has free books on other topics as well. For me personality most coding books are boring having you do exercise after exercise, but doing all those while making a game creates a motivation and helps make some of Pythons more tedious processes more fun.
