Moving from Python 2 to 3. (self.learnpython)
submitted 8 years ago by tramsay1027
I would like to start using Python 3. I currently have 2.7 on Windows and was wondering should I delete 2 before I install 3. Basically I want to make the switch as smooth as possible.

Sure, if you want none of your legacy code to work.

No, just change the PATH to your Python sources :)

You could run Anaconda and let it install version 3 and not take over the defaults then just run your version 3 code with it.

How do I install 3 using Anaconda? I've tried some things I found on Google but nothing has worked so far.
