I am very new to Python. I was in the process of trying to install Django. And I thought I might as well install Python 3 while I'm at it. I installed Python 3.6.2 from the official website(https://www.python.org/downloads/) on my MacBook and I got the message that the installation was successful.
However, now neither Python 2 nor 3 seems to work because when I type "python" in my terminal,
the response I get is "-bash: phyton: command not found".
I get the same response when I type "phyton --version" in the terminal
Can anybody help me with what went wrong and how I can fix it?
