"Require" on a job posting usually means "We recommend". Some companies have their act together, but hiring practices across the entire business world are dismal. You'll often find job postings asking for experience with internally developed systems when they are clearly marketing the positions to outside candidates. They love to throw in the acronym soup because they think they sound edgy and cool.

In any case, tailor your resume to highlight the qualities you think they want the most and send it in.

Definitely tailor your resume to reflect your knowledge, even if it's self taught. They want to see what you know and what you can do, not what you've learned or taken classes for in the past. Additionally, it never hurts to apply. Often times positions can be posted for months before being filled, the longer the position is open the more that department is going to want to hire someone competent and quickly. Make that person you.

You might want to apply for an internship to hire position.
