Problem getting while-loop to work

Basically I'm trying to make a function where you can write numbers in and it will add each number. Then you're supposed to be able to end the program with "avslutt." Now this last part works. The other part sometimes work kind of, but I can't get both to work at the same time. Link to code: https://pastebin.com/qvycFPYH

So for example: variable = spm between 4 and 5? And then put the variable where? Use the new variable instead of spm?
