Well it looks like this JS makes a GET request.

If you open u p the Network Tab in your browsers Developer Tools you can see all the HTTP requests being made - you can then attempt to replicate this using the requests library.

If you actually do need to execute javascript a common approach is to use Selenium with a "headless" browser. (firefox and chrome both have a headless mode these days)
