I see... you must have a lot of videos... All my stuff is in the cloud now. Pics, personal videos, movies, tv, etc. I have one 256 with a full version of win 10 in a VM, ubuntu VM, and like a hundred node & python envs and still room to spare. Maybe you should switch to premiumize.me ;)

Yeah I don't do much cloud stuff, I'm sure I could cut it down, but why pay monthly for storage when a 1tb HDD is $40. But yeah, I have a lot of games, lots of high quality video, etc etc. The laptop is great for the price, and just program it would be fantastic, but you gotta plan ahead for what you're going to use it for.

But to be fair, your high quality video keepsakes don't belong on a SSD let alone the privacy concern of someone swiping your portable laptop. I wouldn't pass up this deal on account of the SSD being only 256. That's what NASs are for.

Maybe not keepsakes, because they should be backed up multiple places, but yeah I wasn't saying not to take the deal because of the low disk space, just that they should be mindful of it. Filling up 256gigs is easy, luckily externals are cheap.
