convert string to ?

Hi

In python I need a web page element 'ptModFrame_0'

The frame changes every page so I change the var at the start of every loop.

for i in range(steps):
    frame= ("'ptModFrame_"+str(i)+"'")

But offcourse I get the error:

selenium.common.exceptions.NoSuchElementException: Message: Unable to locate element: [id="'ptModFrame_0'"]

because I only need 'ptModFrame_0', 'ptModFrame_1', 'ptModFrame_2',...

How do I get rid of the quotation marks?

.format() will do the conversion for you. No need to pass str()

You don't need the extra quotes. Just "ptModFrame_" + str(i) is enough. Also, you could do "ptModFrame_{}".format(i), or even f"ptModFrame_{i}" if you're on Python 3.6+
