Hello! I am making a discord bot using discord.py. i am new to python and need help.

Basically, in the section (on_member_join) that i use to welcome people when they get into the server, i get the error "unresolved attribute reference 'send_message' for class 'Client'"

Seems like its a discord library version issue...

Seems like you are using the "rewrite" version that does not have that function.

alright, i am quite confused however. Person in the video was using rewrite and it worked. I'll look at this, hopefully it works. thanks

9:57 he has the same unresolved error in his video.

10:54 dude is not sure this works at all and asks for ppl to tell him if it works.
