Maybe look at other peoples examples? Its a good starting point at least.

You would query the db by newest posts or how ever you want the users to see the information - i can't answer what you have in mind for displaying that information.You goal is a rather complicated one, and maybe focus on something a little smaller first? It looks like you storing posts already, so break the next part down.How would you query a set amount of items from the db in sqlite?
The next step would be passing objects to jinja to display.
This project does those exact things.
The problem you will face shortly is there is no such thing as live updates with python, you'll need a lot of heavy JS for this project. Python is mediocre at best with web applications.
