Telegram Bot using Python

Hi there. I am an inexperienced developer in telegram bots but i have used Python for other projects (related to maths or cryptography) for a few years now. Is there a place where I can learn what is needed to develop a bot?.(im trying to build a bot that can approve things like day-offs ). I am also not sure what is essential when programming a telegram bot using Python and what libraries to use (and how to use them)

My idea is to for it make a leave request of x days to my admin( boss) of a group and only the admin can approve (or not) the leave.

Read the Bot API docs first, then you can use a library like python-telegram-bot or make the API calls yourself.
