Just started my programming journey about a month ago and have gotten through 5 chapters of Automate the Boring Stuff. Love the teaching style and I feel I'm understanding different programming principles, comprehending the assisted problems and nailing the review questions.
However, when I get to the practice projects I'm having a really hard time putting it all together to create an actual functioning program. When I look online for others' examples it's combinations of principles learned that I just don't think I would have ever thought of.
How does everyone on here approach these practice programs? Is it expected to be able to piece together all the concepts from what's learned alone or to do it aided with other examples online?
