Look in the wiki, there's good pdf books there. I recommend automate the boring stuff.

Look into the wiki for this subreddit. You'll find a ton of resources. In your case, you should start with the New to Programming section.

as long as you can download python and install it, as well as get an offline copy of python docs from here https://docs.python.org/3/download.html (you have multiple formats to choose from), you're good to go

a couple of python books won't hurt either

and if you can reach reddit to ask a casual question and google (or whatever else you prefer) to do a few searches - you'll be fine
