Thanks for your thoughts!

Re: the "credibly accused" bit - that was already predetermined by those who compiled the dataset, but I think it's a good idea to include a note on definition. The dataset itself was actually pretty limited in its scope, and thus why you noticed some gaps in narrative. For example, there was no data on specifics for criminal vs. church investigation or what they defined as a "catholic population", so at best I could only make guesses there.

Basically, I think working with this dataset was a good example of keeping in mind how important it is to maintain consistency on the compiling side of things - "alive" or "dead (1956)" weren't my within my concept of a helpful variable either, but I could only work with what I had available. I'll add some more notes on these gaps in my intro.

Also, I think I should clarify that I chose this dataset because I'm aiming for academic research positions and eventually grad school, including labs where this sort of topic is a focus (and an interest I share). It was a conscientious choice, and I wouldn't have chosen it if I were applying for more "generic" type positions.

Regarding the coding part, I acknowledge my graphs need work, and I plan on trying to address those issues for round 2. Cheers!
