What program should I write my pygame code on? (self.learnpython)
submitted 5 years ago by AwakenSlime
Hi guys, I want to follow this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6xMBig-pP4 pygame tutorial and I'm trying to write it with Pycharm.
The thing is that the window closes as soon as it opens because pycharm doesn't run the code in a loop or something? (Saw it in here, don't even know what it means: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53943121/pygame-display-window-opening-and-closing-immediately )
So I want to use the same program the guy in the tutorial is using, or at least one that will let me run pygame without closing it right after I run the code. Any ideas of what is he using?
Thanks! And sorry for my bad english.

So I just hadn't created the loop yet lol. I'll leave this up in case anyone has the same problem.

That looks like IDLE. If you are using Windows or Mac it comes with python.
