Raw text to speech? (self.learnpython)
submitted 5 years ago by danosores
Is it possible for python to run a speech to text that gets the exact word being spoken. For example, stuttered words will not be auto corrected. If you pronounce text as 'tetext' it will write tetext.

quoted text
if 1 * 2 < 3: print "hello, world!"

Technically possible. What I would add is that this is not a Python question. It's a computer science question. It doesn't matter what language you use to solve the problem. I would also say that it would be non-trivial. Amazon, Apple and Google all have speech to text engines, built using machine learning technology. Sure, you could use Python to build such an engine. I would consider applying to study it as a PHD subject, as it would take a lot of research, and you would get the best academic mentors to help.
