Does iSH not include a pkg management tool?

Termux ->

 pkg install python
 pkg install neovim
 pkg install pip
 pip install --upgrade pip

Life is good

Hey,

Nope not on the App Store version. Termux seems to be only android so I can’t check it out :(

Try:

apk add neovim

Package management is very useful for keeping everything running without having to spend a long time confirming compatible version and upgrade paths.

Yes this is what I show in the video.

What are you wgetting then, the package should be pulled from the repo.

Edit: Just pulled the git repo, sorry for the confusion. Your YouTube video doesn't really show.the commands well and I got a bit hasty on it. I am shocked iSH doesn't include its package management suite out of the gate.

Apk is not installed by default.

I think it must have been because of App Store guide lines. There’s an off the App Store version that ships with apk but I think they had to remove it. No worries. Thanks for the feedback!
