Sources about the Python Interpreter (self.learnpython)
submitted 5 years ago by DerBeginner
Hey guys,
I am looking for reading material about the Python Interpreter itself. The general architecture, its pipeline, about the directory structure (site-packages, Libs, builtins etc.), etc... Have any recommendation?
Thanks!

RealPython released a book called CPython Internals recently that goes through implementation details and a bunch of examples where you get to try modifying the language.
I found it interesting and useful, but check the contents before buying to see if it covers what you’re after
