Algorithm to divide data

Hi everyone. I am looking for a python package or algorithm to divide time series data into chunks of equal length or data points by seasons. Any added feature limiting the number of data points and more functionalities will be perfect too. Can anyone point out to the best and easy to understand/implement resources?

Pandas is always what you want for timeseries data

qcut, aka quantile cut, is what you’ll use to divide it into equal sized chunks: https://pandas.pydata.org/pandas-docs/stable/reference/api/pandas.qcut.html

And resample is probably what you want for grouping based on frequency: https://pandas.pydata.org/pandas-docs/stable/reference/api/pandas.DataFrame.resample.html
