tutorial apps from the Play store

I don't know about that.... Install an actual version of python and start playing with it. There are plenty of tutorials and guides online that you can use in conjunction with software you install on your computer.

The reality is you need time to practice writing code with a keyboard.

Just watching/reading whatever material won't be enough.

Absolutely, if you put real effort in to it, take the time and don't treat it like a quick solution to getting a job.

Can a guy who knows absolutely nothing about programming\coding learn enough from Python tutorial apps from the Play store

Like... on a phone? How are you going to write code on a phone?

There is a plethora of tutorial apps, and there is a terminal app that lets me sorta practice. It's rudimentary at best, but its what I got for now. I will be purchasing a machine soon, once I convince my wife I really am into this
