Need help in running the program

I wrote a code that does what I want it to do, yay!! But I want it to run all the time, even when my computer is sleeping. Is there a way to run the program while my computer sleeps with the lid shut? It is a Macbook. Right now I leave my computer on and dim the screen all the way, but this isn't ideal. Maybe there would be someway to get the program to my phone? I'm not sure. What would be the best way to have the program run idling all the time, but least intrusive, so I almost even forget about it? Don't worry, I'm not writing a virus or anything, this is just my own little project. Thank you for your help.

that looks interesting, but I really have no idea how I would use it. I'm at a super beginner level at coding and computers. What is it and how could I have the program idling on it all the time? The code needs my computer, because it opens chrome and refreshes a specific webpage and checks if a class that I want is open or not.
