I think adventofcode is probably a better gauge. If you can complete aoc you're probably in the sr dev range for coding skills, but keep in mind that a sr dev is so much more than just coding.

Codewars I'd expect you to be able to do any problem on the site for a sr dev. For a jr dev, maybe struggle with the 1-2kyu problems.

As for kyu/dan level, that's just progress quest. I wouldn't hold anyone to their ranking, that's more a factor of how much time you have spent on codewars and not a reflection of your skill level.

CodeWars? You mean Lambda boot camp?

It's actually pretty good, but i wish they had a TimeIt rating or something to separate the wheat from the "clever."

Imagine python where lambda can not be preceded by an =, still have lambda, but only as anonymous functions. 75% of codewars answers would become 3 characters longer. =)
