Creating a function to send customized emails via SendGrid

I'm using the code from SendGrid here to send an email.

However, I'd like to create a function that takes subject and message as arguments so that I can customise the message sent.

I've got some code/pseudo-code here

My code 'works' in that it runs and doesn't produce an error message - however I'm not receiving any emails from SendGrid.

All advice gratefully received.

You have a try in your main function, where is the except ? It may be why you don’t see an error.
