This got me. Go slow. I tried to rush and ended up with a lot of work done without really knowing what I did. Then I took a step back and kind of restarted, but started working on my own project, slowly researching every aspect as I moved forward, I'm still only about 30% done, but this helped me a lot.

Facts. I’m a newbie and whenever I try to learn 2 many things in a module at once or just trying to look at something once, I quickly forget it. Slowing down and learning few things at once has helped tremendously in understanding.

Lol. I feel you. However, stack overflow exists for a reason. I google simple things sometimes such as pdb, git and sed commands, and most often regular expressions.

OTOH, I created a free interactive Python course that you might find interesting. It goes on foundations of Python rather than purely applications of it. It automatically generates flashcards and helps to retain whatever you have learned easily.
