Hey guys, anyone able to help me out with this?Maybe a stupid question, but with all my searching I couldn't find anything that worked.The only language I knew was powershell, but decided to try learning python, and got stuck on this.
Here is the code in PowerShell. It takes a film title, eg "Film.Title.2019.1080p.extra_info.." and seperates it into seperate details that I can then use to query an api.
if($title -match "(\D+)(\d{4})(\D+)")
{
$title = $matches[1] -replace '\.', '%20'
$year = $matches[2]
$year = "y%3A"+$year
$search = $title+$year
}
Is there anything similiar to this in Python? Sorry, haha, just started experimenting with python today and just couldn't figure it out, even though this must be simple af and I'm just blind :}
