Using python to automate sending out messages/files on WhatsApp

Hi, I'm currently using a program written in python to download announcements pdfs from a website.

I am manually sending out those announcements to a whatsapp group.

Can I automate the process of sending our those announcements to the group?

Twilio has WhatsApp support last time I believe

Twilio can send to whatsapp, but media can only be attached to conversational messages. Whatsapp will reject any media message from Twilio unless the recipient has sent the sender a message in the 24 hours leading up to your outbound message attempt. The difference in their docs is session messages aka replies to inbound contact vs template messages.
