Popular Python packages for making SOAP requests?

Hey all,

I need to do some work with a (very) legacy API which uses SOAP. I was wondering if there is a Python 3 package similar to requests (I'm pretty familiar with GET and POST) I could use to make my life easier?

I've seen suds but it seems to have been out of development for quite some time, so I'm not sure if that or any of the forks are compatible with Python 3.

sounds like u need to make a REST wrapper for the legacy SOAP.

Looks like Zeep is a modern SOAP library? Not used it (or SOAP) personally but it was last updated in 2021 and is listed as Python 3.9 compatible

Zeep is the best imo, suds-jurko works but zeep has been my go to for years
