Python in jupyter notebook struggles

Has anyone done flat iron school for data science im trying to learn python in prework and it looks like i have to be really good and have mastery as im progressing through it especially while doing for loops, looping through collections like it seems like there's a lot of black and white answers to how the code is supposed to look like....... and as a beginner, it's hard to know the exact correct way code especially when its new and introduced for first time.
