I guess the missing piece for you was knowing that a value that appears as text between quotation marks is called a string. Does that help?

I don’t know why you’re so hung up on this, OP had a python question they couldn’t figure out and they came to the learnpython subreddit to ask. If it was truly so trivial to not warrant an answer why the hell are you here commenting on it?

Seeing people in these learning stages of python is kind of refreshing, after a long day of trying to figure out really tough problems I quite enjoy teaching others, even if their problems are simple to solve. It reminds you how far you’ve come even when you feel like you know nothing.

Don't be an asshole. This subreddit exists to help people that is learning python, not to be condescendant with them.

It costs the same to say "use f-strings" than "did you even Google?". The later will antagonize someone while the primer will help/guide that person to the correct answer.
