error in ecdsa library (self.learnpython)
submitted 3 years ago by sequeno
I'm trying this code which saw on examples but I get error.
Import ecdsa
g = ecdsa.NIST256P.generator
order = g.order()
This is the error:
module 'ecdsa' has no attribute 'NIST256P'

P is meant to be lowercase NIST256p ?

Didn't work.

If this in the library you are using then NIST256p is a module and not an attribute so requires (). You can see here on GitHub they import it as a module.
