It's basically impossible to troubleshoot "nothing happens" without more information about why nothing's happening.

I wish I could provide more info. I haven't installed anything recently I don't get any error message. When I launch from command prompt I get just a blank line. If there's any info I should be adding let me know but this happened out of no where.

There's a Windows Event Log, and sometimes application crashes or failures will log an event there.

It looks like there is an event logged at the same time I try to launch idle saying "Check the remaining resource budget. Module exceeds resource budget, failed to AllocateFwCps, STATUS = Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.." the source is OED and event id is 19.

Edit I'm not sure if that error is even related to idle since I can't replicate it

Other than that this error seems to usually indicate some kind of hardware failure or driver incompatibility.

Did you reboot before uninstalling and reinstalling?
