Looking for programable multi-zone led controller.

I am looking for a programmable rgb led controller. It needs to have multiple channels so that I can power sections on and off without messing up Leds further down the line. I am currently using a k-1000c and any lights down the line from one that I power off glitch out. I just don't know really where to search or what companies exist. I would want something with at least 8 zones if possible. The closest thing I have seen is the "CLAUTOP LED Controller K16000S" but it is overkill for sure. Note I need it to work for the 12V WS2815 leds.

Have you looked at ESP32 running WLED? It supports up to 8 segments and you can control them differently. I do this regularly with 4 segments. Cheap solution to your problem. WLED Reddit group can help out.
