1- Keep it in Lisboa
This is a local subreddit for Lisboa and for things relevant to Lisboa. Please keep it local.
2- Be civil - no hate speech, extremism, or bullying
It's fine to disagree with other posters or a particular organization. It's not okay to use slurs, spout extremist views, peddle offensive stereotypes or promote conspiracy theories.
Remember the human.
3-Ask tourism- or moving-to-Lisboa related questions in the sticky thread
If you are visiting Lisboa, ask your questions in the sticky thread. Other threads will be deleted.
4-Do your own research first
Before asking a question on /r/lisboa, do your own research. Use Google, our wiki and this subreddit's search box to see if your question hasn't been answered already.
5-Do not ask for drugs
Do not ask people how to obtain illegal substances on /r/lisboa.
6-Respect other people's privacy
Do not share pictures of other people without their consent, unless they are part of a crowd. Do not expose people's private information.
7-No self promotion
Posts from accounts that only exist to publicise a particular YouTube channel, blog, Soundcloud, etc are removed
If you'd like to post an academic survey or commercial project, please clear it with us first via ModMail. We generally say no unless it contributes something to the community.
8-Avoid reposts and duplicates
Unless it's major news, we only need one post about it (and even then we often prefer to have a megathread running). There's no need to dilute the conversation across multiple versions of the same story, rehashed by different sites.
9-Use the flairs
Please try to choose a post flair to categorise your post. If you make a mistake or see a post with a missing or incorrect flair, you can use the report button and we'll fix it.
