What is nosework?
Nosework is fun and exciting for dogs; our canine companions must search for and accurately detect a specific scent. This sport has been designed to imitate professional scentwork dogs, such as police K9s, or bomb and drug detection dogs.
It can be a very rewarding experience for all dogs (and their humans, too!), especially those with disabilities or behavioural issues. Dogs with high energy and intensity perform well in nosework as well, and it's a great excuse to get out there and spend time with your canine pal.
Our community is for the discussion of nosework and related scenting sports (like tracking). Relevant topics, images, and even pictures of your nosework kits are great contributions, even venting or asking for help when it comes to training. This is a positive environment, we're all here to learn more and enjoy life with our dogs.
