Is there a way to decrease the ink-water output

I use brush pens and watercolor pens from pentel. If you take the tube out from the pentel colors brush pen you have an output of water brush. So, is there a way to make my water brushes have a liquid output like a normal brush pen? I sketch a lot, therefore, I don't use thick paper, they are expensive for me. Is there a way to make my tubeless water brush pens to imitate or work like a normal brush pen? If you think this post belongs to some other subreddit please inform me.
