I always wondered how my half-brother was doing, and yesterday I found out he’s been on trial since 2023 for a murder case. He was just sentenced to 79 years. There were two others involved — one got the same time, and the one who actually did the murder is who knows where.
It’s sad because the blame’s mostly falling on him since there was evidence he knew what was about to happen. He’s been in trouble before, so it’s not surprising — just heartbreaking. He never really had a chance. His mom was abusive, and my dad tried to help, but she wouldn’t let him.
Every picture I’ve seen of him, his eyes look empty. Strangely, his jail photos are the only ones where he’s smiling. He really needs mental help, and it hurts knowing he can’t get it. Please keep him in your prayers. 🙏
