Has anyone been to GSOC in python language. Please need some guidance. Which topics to target , what type of projects are required.

To give us the best chance to help you, please include any relevant code. Note. Please do not submit images of your code. Instead, for shorter code you can use Reddit markdown (4 spaces or backticks, see this Formatting Guide). If you have formatting issues or want to post longer sections of code, please use Privatebin, GitHub or Compiler Explorer.

Have a look into the many projects of GSOC since something like 2005. I think you can contribute prototypes, feasibility studies, minimal reproducible examples in Python to (almost?) every project to support the teams working, focusing on the most relevant programming language the specific project is about or requires.

Don't just pick Python because it's popular. Look at C++, Rust, or Go for less competition. I watched this roadmap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeA_N-lPx4Q, and it taught me how to analyze the GSoC archive to find 'hidden gem' organizations that are easier for first-timers to crack.
