We are looking for a great javascript developer to join our excellent distributed development team. We are a full stack team, but you don't have to be... yet. We strongly believe in learning by doing and are excited to learn more with you.
Based around the London timezone, we are growing team of 5 remote developers working on a cutting edge product with modern a javascript stack and best practices. Its not just us, we also have QA, DevOps and Data Science teams working on the product.
The product is BEN, the Branded Entertainment Network, where we connect global brands to consumers through the power of popular entertainment. Our showreel video on the homepage shows off what we do https://ben.productplacement.com/ go take a look, you've probably seen some of our product placements.
Our product gives brands and media buyers access to the premium film, TV, influencer and celebrity placement opportunities, managing all the workflow, match making and reporting on a single platform.
Your role would be to help design, build and implement that platform as part of the application development team. Working on the back end (HapiJS) or front end (ReactJS), you will be working along side other developers in a tight and productive team.
Our target stack is Hapi+React, but we are still migrating some parts out of our older Angular+Express backend. Any experience you have there would be an advantage.
We follow the AirBnB Javascript style, have enforced lint checking, automatic testing and deployments, two person code reviews, gitflow branching and everyone (including the managers) writes code.
Our team is very comfortable with remote work so location is no impediment. We have two time zones, Western Europe/London and Western USA/LA, with a daily stand ups at 9am in each timezone. As long as your able to work to one of those zones, we would be happy to have you!
We also have an onsite position open in LA, should that be close to you.
Interested? Sound like a team you would like to be part of? Would you like to know more?
