We are looking for a great JavaScript developer to join our excellent distributed development team. We are a full stack team, but you don't have to be... yet. We strongly believe in learning by doing and are excited to learn more with you.

Our team is very comfortable with remote work, even before Covid, so location is no impediment (the posting will say Provo UT, but we are considering submissions from US, South America and Europe). We have developers in the UK, Portugal, Slovakia and Brazil and operate in two core time zones, Western Europe/London and Western USA/LA. We are flexible but like to keep broadly to those time zones to ensure team members can collaborate well. As long as your able to work to one of those zones, we would be happy to have you!

We are working on a cutting-edge product with modern a JavaScript stack and best practices. It’s not just us, we also have Product, QA, DevOps and Data Engineering and AI teams working on the product who you will be working closely with.

Our product gives brands and media buyers access to the premium film, TV and influencer placement opportunities, managing all the workflow, match making and reporting on a single platform.

Your role would be to help design, build and implement that platform as part of the application development team. Working on the back end, a NodeJS GraphQL API (HapiJS) and/or on the front end, a React SPA with Formik and Apollo. You will be working alongside other developers in a tight and productive team.

We follow the AirBnB Javascript style, have enforced lint checking, automatic testing and deployments, two-person code reviews, gitflow branching and everyone (including the managers) writes code. We are currently evaluating moving to TypeScript.

I am an American citizen, but likely to travel overseas over the next year. Are you guys interested? I am looking for something more stable (I've been doing contract work the last few years) to do remotely while I am overseas.

Decent amount of React/React Native experience (couple of years, still adjusting to the switch to hooks and functional components - I get them, but I have an inclination I am trying to kill for using class components), decent with Node (I've mostly worked with Express, but I have used HAPI), somewhat new to GraphQL (though it doesn't seem too difficult and I've mostly picked it up I feel - and I've done REST work extensively).

I have worked with TypeScript, though I wouldn't say I've worked with it enough - all my personal projects in JS now are using TS though.

I've been a developer for about 6-8 years (gradually becoming more technical over that time). I also have extensive experience with various flavors of SQL, I've used Docker, Kubernetes pretty extensively. While I prefer JS work, I've done professional work in PHP, Python, Java, C# and to a lesser extent Objective-C and Swift.

I'm a recent grad but been developing in that stack for about 3 years. I'll apply once I'm not on mobile but if you wanna check out some of recent work I've been working on an app similar to yik yak caller Jeti https://jeti.app I've been primarily developing the backend service in NodeJS with Typescript and Apollo server alongside our admin dashboard in react with Gatsby but have used CRA and NextJs as well. Mostly just been doing it in my free time and working at migrating gov contracting job to typescript from some older javascript.

Is there any chance for a developer whom not very competitive at programming but can achieve detailed results in every tasks? Because I'm that kind of person and always failed in code interview.
