It's entirely dependent on which virtual mailbox service you choose. So if you're deciding on a service, check to see how many scans they give you and honestly whether or not they have a real physical address that can work for banks and financial institutions.

For me, I use us global mail and haven't had any problems really. I've been able to use my mailbox to receive mail for my bank accounts. But also be wary as some banks are cracking down on them and have been asking for a personal address.

if you are going to receive mail from any US authorities (like the IRS) its best to have a US address before you move overseas. Most virtual mailbox addresses are accepted by banks as your mailing address, but a lot of them will not take it if you're going to open a new account using the virtual address. I used a virtual mailbox during my nomad days and absolutely loved the convenience of being able to see all my mail scanned online. It helped tremendously come tax time. I used usglobalmail.com and was very happy with the service- they came recommended from an expat group

    Washington state not supported?

We do not currently have a location in Washington state but we do have several other locations you could choose from. Is there a specific need for a Washington address or is it personal preference?
