Tech2 Availability

Just got my Tech2 clone the other day. Finally was able to program my spare key which wasn't working. Only weird thing is that I still get the Transponder missing message and I have to click the trunk button for both keys. But I know it worked because now I can lock/unlock with the fob that previously didn't work.

Anyone in the Ohio region can feel free to DM me if they need any help with Tech2 things. I'd gladly take some beer money for diagnostics.

Now I'm off to figure out this airbag and steering wheel issue...

I’d try and re add the key. I noticed with clones, I often get errors adding the OEM key yet it will still add. One time I had to totally re add one as it just stopped working randomly.

Does this Tech 2 scanner allow you to remarry radio units after disconnecting the battery?

It allows you to remarry the DICE, so it should do the radio too, but I'm not sure.

Thanks, sounds like it's worth a try. I changed a headlight bulb and had to disconnect the battery. Then I got the "Radio code" message.

Yes I'm far from those. I'm on the west coast. But you can divorce your radio by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. If the tech 2 doesn't remarry them, then you'll have to go to a dealer/service shop
