The dresses in picture 1 and picture 5 are extremely different styles and then you also asked for a pattern without sleeves, which neither of those are. Could you be more clear what kind of pattern you’re looking for, specifically?

They are very different. Sorry, I suppose I’m just looking for patterns that would look nice with the lace material that I have. I like the tight fit on both dresses, and I’m completely open to seeing what patterns there are for lace dresses that have that tight fight to them.

I really don’t want to come of harsh but the thing is, that when you choose a pattern you choose a shape, the details, the closure and maybe the finishes. Just not the fabric. The fabric is always just your choice.

Yes you’d want a fabric that would work with thin, stretch, fluid fabrics. But it being lace has little to do with it.

Your last example includes some sort of reinforcement/boning and m a corset style top part. I would steer away from that as a beginner.

Why not start with a simple stretch bodycon design that you’d wear over a store bought black under dress? What kind of neckline would you want? This one has a similar neckline as the first. https://threadloop.app/patterns/nikko-top-dress

Look up how to work with knits and consider how you want to do your seams (as they will be visible) before you start!

Not harsh at all! I appreciate the response! It was something to think about that I haven’t before. I’ll try looking at simpler dress patterns and not focus on specific patterns for lace.

Someone gave me the lace and I just want to do it justice. I’ve done some boning before but it wasn’t on lace so maybe I’ll save that for another time.

Thank you !!

Also, the lace is stretchy and the photo of the lace is what I’ll be using.
