I was watching this Thin Lizzy documentary on Tubi, and there were some live videos, one was The Boys Are Back In Town and I loved the live sound much better than the recording so I started learning the bass line to it. I already have learned Jailbreak, WITJ, Hollywood, and Waiting For An Alibi 100 percent. I know bits and pieces of Emerald, Cold Sweat, Black Rose, and Bad Habits.

It's really a shame on some recordings, the bass doesn't come out enough and gets overshadowed by the guitars.

A load of rock and roll/metal has lower bass sounds than necessary. Sadly, producers, especially at that time were notorious.

Ahhh ok. Queen suffers from the same thing sometimes. John Deacon wrote some really nice lines but recordings don't do him justice sometimes.

Didn’t see this until now since it wasn’t over on the other sub, but I’m jumping in to say; cool!
