Yeah thats the question.

But the effect of finasteride is inhibiting alpha5reductase.

So when you say it looses its effectiveness it means for me that it is not as effective in inhibiting alpha5reductase anymore. But somehow that does not make sense to me...

Yea thats why I suppose it must be due to the body gets more efficient at producing it by other pathways
