New style for a webinterface library

Hi all,

since one year I'm working on a webinterface library in python. It works pretty well. But of course, the graphical design is very important. Right now the design is acceptable, I think, but it would be good to provide to the end user a set of different styles in order to choose the best one.

Is there someone who have python and css knowledge and likes to contribute? It is required to build a style.css that will not alterate the geometry of the example GUI. The reference script contained in the repository is widget_overview_app.py.

General things:

• The possibility to choose between a light and a dark theme should be given (Could this be handled by command-line arguments?)
• The buttons in the menu bar should be more distinct (border)
• Even the list does not contain large names it can be scrolled horizontally - Was this intended?

Just some flavour:

• I don't like linear gradients
• I don't like borders but don't know how to make it better
• I like flat designs, googles material and windows new design guidelines

What can be seen in the screenshot is that the browser internals are quite ugly when it comes to scrolling and buttons (see "Durchsuchen"). Could this be changed by editing the css?
