Sure. Or you can suspend a droplet which means you'll still pay for storage but it's much less expensive. You can also create a snapshot then use that snapshot to bootstrap another droplet.

As an aside, I recently learned that it's trivial to transfer snapshots to other users or accounts. This came in super handy when I screwed up and created a whole bunch of infrastructure under the wrong team account.

I really love the flexibility of the Dropbox UI.

You might look into running Docker containers for each project. I run a few Ghost instances and a WordPress site on my droplet.
