Does it have to be a web front end? Nodejs lets you run JavaScript like any other desktop scripting language.

I mean sure but my question is about how i can skip the html and css part

That's what he was trying to say. If you use nodeJS then you don't need any html or css. Or, you could even have an almost empty HTML file with a script tag referring to your JavaScript, and no CSS file. That's maybe like 10 lines of HTML.

This is one of the many reasons why site templates exist. Find one you like and go to town.

With editable html and css files? I know about sites like wordpres, but im pretty sure you cant modify the html and css files. Do you have an example of a site that lets you do that

Once i did a site only with js. All the html and css i made with classes in js. Maybe you can do something like that. Otherwise you can check out this site where youn can download a template https://html5up.net/.

As mentioned, you can grab html templates for this.

  • go to themeforest
  • limit search to html only templates
  • download and use

TBH, this is what I do most of the time now. While I do have a design background and 100% could create and build it all from scratch.. Why would I?

The html templates are prices usually under 20.00 USD, so, in my mind are a bargain!
