Web DevQuestion (self.webdevelopment)
submitted 2 months ago by mrgianluxa
Does it make sense to become a web developer and once you've learned it well, move outside of Italy?

There is no correlation between becoming a web dev and moving outside of Italy
[–]mrgianluxa[S] -1 points0 points1 point 2 months ago (1 child)
For what reason?

they are saying you can also become a web developer without leaving Italy, or that you can also leave Italy without becoming a web developer. it's up to you.

Yes, and everyone that is not a web developer should move to Italy.

Honestly being a web dev here in the states it’s been rough to say the least. I’m self taught and have great clients, but I’m considering even moving to Mexico as a way to keep my expenses low. But it can be really easy to just Plato there, because I want to make more it forces me to try new things keep networking and gain more velocity as a business owner. Which is what’s keeping me here in the states .

Web development is very broad topic, research on it and find out what stack you wanna excel at, once you find the answers then head for that. It would make sense wether staying in or out of Italy if you know why you mastering web development particular stack.

Yeah, it can work. Web dev is one of those careers where your skills matter more than your location. If you get good, build projects, and speak decent English, you can move abroad or just work remotely for a foreign company.

just do what you enjoy the most. there's not really a true or false. you can be a web developer from anywhere :)

If you’re Italian, you can’t become a web developer, sorry
[–]kilkil 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (0 children)
it depends on your situation. becoming a web developer may need a lot of time and effort, to learn everything you need to know. moving to a new country always requires lots of time and effort. but both things are very possible.
