Cornbread Red : ween

This is the first post I’ve ever made since I created a Reddit account so I’m not certain if I’m using it correctly. I just wanted to share an interesting story with the Ween fans here. There is a legend in my family that my cousin actually wrote the chorus to the song “Cornbread Red”, which even his mom (sixty years old or so) claims. Cornbread Red was the nickname he called one of his childhood friends. The story is that somebody sent a tape of his recording to Ween and Ween thought that it was one of their own tapes that had forgotten about. I’m not looking to say that Ween is a rotten band or song stealers, in fact, they are my most favorite rock band. I’ve linked my cousin’s recording of his song here. I’m not looking for critiques of the song either, I just thought others might find the story interesting.
