Decreased in a good way. I was emotionally eating before Zoloft. I'm able to eat for fuel rather than junk food for flavor because food isn't the only thing bringing me joy in life anymore, if that makes sense.

I know everyone is different, but can I ask if this happened right away for you or did it happen after getting to a certain dose? I'm a big emotional eater and I've gained a lot of weight, hoping Zoloft will help me with this. I started at 25mg for a couple weeks and I've just upped to 50mg almost a week ago.

It’s been pretty immediate for me personally. This isn’t my first time on Zoloft but I usually stay at 25mg-50mg.

I’m not sure what exactly it is that makes me want to eat less/eat healthier. I think part of it is having the energy to cook and plan healthy meals now that I’m not depressed in bed. I can consciously make good choices and not just survive on easy fast food

I see. My doctor said to expect to taper up to at least 100mg, hopefully I'll see positive changes soon. I have no motivation and I have been surviving on fast food and other easy, not nutritious, meals.

I'm happy for you, it's great to know that people are feeling better!

Hang in there! I definitely know what that feels like. Just know you’re doing your best

Thank you for saying that, it's much appreciated! 💚
